Sponsors on WiseNomad.com are treated to custom tailored advertising opportunities. We're open to customizing the layout of our pages to incorporate an advertisers message, so long as it does not interfere with our presentation of the content. We will consider any ad formats (including rich media) and any ad size. If it fits on the page and doesn't look goofy, we'll consider it.

NOTE: Content on the WiseNomad.com site is created by travelers, for travelers… not by advertisers, for customers. Buying a sponsorship gives the advertiser no rights whatsoever to modify or edit any content… you're just sponsoring the venue.

There are seven major content sections of WiseNomad. Sponsorship opportunities vary by section.

Articles Section - Web-publishing site for backpackers and world travelers. Any traveler can submit stories and opinion pieces, and the community votes on which articles get posted. Additionally, users can comment on each other’s stories. New articles are posted frequently, so check back often.

Sponsorship Opportunities - Four text ad boxes situated in the right hand column towards the top of this section. This is also the homepage of WiseNomad.com. Currently offered at $50/mo.

Hostels Section - A dynamic, and intuitively organized directory of fine hostels worldwide. View reviews, ratings, editorial recommendations, and popularity metrics. This section also includes more detailed reviews of the world's top 20 hostels.

Sponsorship Opportunities - One top of the page banner ad through out the hostel directory currently offered at $50/mo. For hostel owners, enhanced, top of the page directory listings can be purchased for $99/yr. Additionally, one top of the page banner ad is currently offered for $50/mo on each of these four popular sub-sections: World's Top 20 Hostels, Top European Hostels, Top Australian Hostels, Top American Hostels.

Wisdom Section - A living, growing resource of accumulated backpacker wisdom, by travelers, for travelers. Backpackers share recommendations on daytime activities, nightlife, food and drink, and accommodation options. Wisdom postings are time-stamped, as well as rated and reviewed by subsequent travelers to enhance the credibility of each recommendation.

Sponsorship Opportunities - One top of the page banner ad through out the directory currently offered at $50/mo. For locally relevant companies offering things of interest to backpackers (daytrips, adventure activities, nightlife spots, eateries, accommodations, cultural interests, etc.), geo-targeted ads residing immediately above the wisdom listings can be purchased within each destination for $50/year. These geo-targeted ads are limited to 3 spots per destination.

Directory Section - A dynamic, and intuitively organized directory of backpacker and world traveler resources on the web. View reviews, ratings, editorial recommendations, and popularity metrics.
