The WiseNomad.com Revolution
(OK, maybe that's a bit dramatic... here's what we aim to do)

In an attempt to enhance the WiseNomad.com website experience, we strongly encourage and recommend that all WiseNomad.com users download Odigo and use it while on the site.

If everyone participates, this will evolve into a powerful resource for all WiseNomad.com users to share in each other's travel wisdom. Because Odigo only allows users to see other Odigo users (and occasionally AOL IM, Yahoo IM, and ICQ users), everybody that wants to take advantage of it's functionality needs to download the Odigo application.

To help ensure better participation, we've designated times on certain days of the week for travelers with different interests. Topics for these designated times will become more granular as we increase our audience participation. You can help here by camping out on our site during a particular session and inviting your friends to do the same.

• Find Travel Buddies - for next summer or next month while you're still at home, or for next week with other travelers that are in route nearby where you're currently travelling.

• Share Info - on tips, documents, other useful sites and even photos from your trip
• Forge New Friendships - with interesting people who share your interests or perhaps your itinerary
• Hostel Reservations - using free voice chat instead of an expensive and confusing international phone call, or paying extra for some web reservation "service". I'm working on the hostels now, you can help by mentioning that you would appreciate such a free service.
• Sell Stuff - an old backpack, guidebook, car, or plane ticket that you'll no longer be needing
