A quaint courtyard, a cozy bar, and a good selection of beer at the cheapest prices in Paris make the 3 ducks a backpacker favorite. Getting to sleep before 2am is not an option, but nobody here seems to care. The hostel is close enough to walk to many of the major Paris attractions, but like in any big city around Europe, the subway is the way to go. Plan to spend some time in Paris to really appreciate the local flavor and bring your appetite because there's no consistently better food anywhere on earth. Even the inexpensive eateries are outstanding.

How do you get there?

From the train station...

From the Gare du Nord, go underneath the station and get on métro line number 4 (dir: Porte d'Orléans). Switch at the station called "Strasbourg Saint-Denis" for line 8 (dir: Balard) Get off at the station called "Commerce". (a métro map is available at the site of the R.A.T.P. ). The hostel is a 2 minute walk from the métro : upon exiting the métro, you'll see church at the end of the street--the hostel is just to the right of the church.

From the bus station...

From the airport...

From the Charles de Gaulle airport, take a bus called Roissybus into Paris (Price: 46 Francs). The last and only stop is called "Opera". Here you can get the métro; take line number 8 to a stop called "Commerce". The hostel is a 2 minute walk from the métro : upon exiting the métro, you'll see church at the end of the street--the hostel is just to the right of the church.

By car...

From the freeway, take exit at " porte de Versailles" direction "Place Balard" then take Avenue Felix Faure till the end you'll fall right on the back of the church. The hostel is located on the left side of this church.
