Banana Bungalow
Miami Beach
Miami, Florida, USA

#4 Ranked Hostel in the World

Inside Report

Probably the best city hostel in the US. Situated on a canal right in the heart of lively South Beach, Miami, this converted hotel has all the amenities that you could reasonably expect in a hostel. It's about two blocks from the beach. They have a huge patio with a nice pool, a poolside bar, a small movie theater, a café, and an activities desk that arranges a few day trips. Most of the rooms have a tropical décor and sleep 6 people - not too many, but enough so that you meet a few new friends.

Miami Beach is a party town and the locals hang by the beach during the day and drink and dance late into the morning each night.
