Off the beaten path of the traditional tourist, the Bauhaus is nestled into the quintessential European village, Bruges. The Bauhaus and Bruges have been a backpacker staple for over a decade and the hostel owners have refined the backpacker experience down to a science. They have several day trips for you to choose from and a pub that's conducive to meeting other backpackers. While this is definitely a great place to stop and relax for a few days, there really isn't that much to keep you busy for weeks on end.
