#6 Ranked Hostel in the World Inside Report This hidden jewel is really more characteristic of those fabulous hostels found throughout Australia, rather than the more traditional city hostels that a backpacker will experience all over Europe. The hostel grounds consist of a huge pool, a bar, an eclectic outdoor lounge for food and drink (where you're welcome to bring your own or buy it there), random gardens, a fire pit, and if you hit it on the right night you'll find a sauna-like sweat hut. The atmosphere is really laid back in contrast to their more well known neighboring hostel, Balmers, although both are fun places for different moods.
