Inside Report

Located in the vibrant Covent Garden area of London, this recently opened and well designed city hostel gives an indication of where youth hostelling is going in the years ahead. They offer a clean, well organized city hostel with all the essential amenities plus some extras. In addition to their English pub, a nightclub, and their residents lounge, the Village offers some amenities rarely seen in city hostels - a sauna and a roof-top hot tub.

Friendly pubs and a rich cosmopolitan flavor make London a must see on any European trek. The absence of a language barrier for Australian and US travelers makes it much easier for them to rub elbows with the locals and really experience the culture outside of the hostel.

How do you get there?

From the train station...

FROM WATERLOO take Jubilee line two stops to London Bridge, go south on Borough High Street, we are 50 metres on left.

FROM VICTORIA take the circle and district line to Monument, come out of station and walk over London Bridge, down Borough High Street and we are on the left (walking time 10 mins). The hostel is situated on Borough High Street right next to Belushi's Bar St.

FROM STANSTEAD take train to Liverpool Street and bus no 42 to London Bridge, Borough High Street or coach to Victoria and then instructions above.

DIRECTIONS FROM HEATHROW take the underground train to Green Park and change onto the Jubilee Line to London Bridge, go south on Borough High street, we are only 50 metres on the left.

FROM GATWICK Take the Thames link train from Gatwick straight to London Bridge, leaving every twenty mins, come out of station and walk down Borough High Street, we are on the left. The hostel is situated on Borough High Street right next to Belushi's Bar St.
